  +Staff were super friendly and always ready and willing to offer help. Had a problem with my credit card being suspended due to suspicion of fraud by my bank. Staffer on reception duty helped me contact my bank in South Africa. Issue resolved successfully.

  −Restaurant on 2nd floor could be more inviting and warm.

  “A hugely disappointing stay — basic facilities didn’t work, the hotel felt overcrowded and poorly managed, staff showed”

  −The room was dirty, there was no hot water, toilet didn’t flush property, pool and pool area was over crowded, staff were uninterested in helping in anyway and food was mediocre at best.

  “Not worth the money , We going again”

  +Karen and staff in restaurant couldn't do enough for breakfast, but they were totally let down by chef and runners. Hotel Manager Damian was exceptionally rude and looked down on my partner ( female ) . When were only trying to resolve issues around handing out of date drinks offer vouchers. Cleaning staff 10/10.

  −Management and too often private functions closing off areas and top bars . Open to the public so we couldn't get service and that also ruined the security of the lifts ,which were to keep non residents out . Room was tiny and at 5k for 10 days the worst we have ever had. We have travelled all over USA and are very seasoned travellers . We covered 4 states and did most bookings on the night . Paid very little at times ,but were totally amazed by service and standards. We did 3 weeks in USA. We had been in USA twice year for last few yrs . Worst bed I have ever slept on in USA, we span mattress because of a dip,plus smallest bed ever and no way was a queen bed at home I have a super King. Nowhere to unpack or put suitcases .

  “Great Hotel, laying by the pool/sitting in roof top bar knowing bustling NYC was below, was exciting”

  +The hotel was in a great location and was very quirky and different which we loved. the staff were nice and the room clean and comfortable, but slightly small, but expected this in this excellent spot right in central Manhattan

  −elevators were a little erratic but that caused some fun among all guests. the breakfast was the only thing wrong with the hotel - took forever and then poor quality. needs a total revamp process, menu and staffing.
